Child Care Resource & Referral

If you need Child Care Listing for Okaloosa and Walton Counties, please complete an online request here.

Child Care Resource & Referral (CCR&R) is a free service available to all Okaloosa and Walton County families that helps:
• identify and select quality early learning programs.
• connect to local community agencies and resources.
• engage in their children’s education and learning.
• locate financial resource options.

Whether you are looking for a few hours or a full week of child care for your infant, preschooler, or school-age child, CCR&R Specialists are available to help. Please note that we make referrals only, not recommendations. Contact us at 850-833-3627 ext.0. 

Please Note: All families receiving Child Care Resource and Referral services will be contacted to complete a voluntary survey to gauge your customer service experience with our office. All responses are anonymous and confidential and will not affect your services.

PROVIDER Assistance

The ELC-EC strives to assist all early education programs in Okaloosa and Walton counties with any questions about the VPK and SR programs as well as guidance for enhancing the quality of your program. If you are interested in starting a new child care program, we are available to offer you information about the process.
